With all of our stuff in transit I have only had the kids books to read, I bought them a stack of Michael Morpurgo titles for Christmas so I've been working my way through them. He is such a superb writer. Recently read:
War, Stories of Conflict
Title: For Tibet with love

The kids are having a binge on Michael Morurgo's books at the moment and I make a point of reading what they are reading. This is a brilliant story, it is written over a 24 hour period during world war one and captures the memories in the life of a young soldier. The twist at the end is quite harrowing.
